I am extremely disappointed! Can everything be adjusted

I bought the iKlip Grip as a gift and it was defective. The upper square part didn't come up! I just got it back. I'm trying to return it to you and it says the return window is closed! I've never had this before and didn't realize it was an option. I am extremely disappointed! Can an adjustment be made? I'm a good loyal member of Revain.
