I tried hooking it up to the factory fog lights but it burned my fog light switch in the pretty cheap light switch so I went to Home Depot and bought a good switch switch and it helped a lot. I still have to use everything and I still have to use it to connect to a power source with a battery but other than that it's easy to install but I recommend getting a quick connector to install the wire harness to the light bar You need to take out the light panel, you don't need to cut the wire
