Fantastic. Powerful, I have one like this in a 75 gallon tank. The directions stink, but it's mostly common sense. You can find a lot of information on customization on the Internet. Very impressed as I wasn't sure about such a price difference in brand name or pet store. Eve had much more expensive filters that weren't nearly as good as this one. UV light is an added bonus. I noticed that if you turn on the UV lamp for sterilization, you don't need a heater. She seems to be keeping the temperature between 76 and 78. I think it depends on the temperature in your room. I installed the spout vertically instead of horizontally, it works great and the light in the pool is on. Very quiet, you never realize it's working. I only paid $55 for the 525 GPH. I notice that the price fluctuates from day to day. If it stands the test of time I will upgrade it to 5 stars.
