Review on ☕️ Enhanced Presto 02811 12-Cup Stainless Steel Coffee Maker for Optimal Brewing Experience by Lauren Walton

Makes a coffee snob happy

I enjoy coffee, the whole process of making coffee. Over the years I've tried pretty much every brewing method, from French press to drip and Turkish. When the last dripper we had (I think it was our fourth in 10 years) gave us the last drop, I happily put the Chinese plastic to good use and tried again to find a suitable coffee maker. Presto makes delicious coffee. I've experimented with different grinds and found one that's slightly coarser than the regular drip grind, but not as coarse as a press, and works best. Coffee is brewed at around 200 degrees Fahrenheit, which is the ideal temperature in my opinion. I use the Melitta 628354 3-1/2" disc coffee filter, which you can find at Revain. Cleaning is stupid-easy too. Against all common sense and just to get a baseline, I left the Presto plugged in for 6-6 hours and was pleasantly surprised that the coffee stayed perfectly hot with only a slight loss of flavor.I recommend a quality insulated steel or glass carafe to keep your coffee warm if you like coffee all day like I do. Don't get me wrong I'm not happy at all that this device is made in the People's Republic the ONLY thing that got me thinking is that it's all stainless steel my hot coffee never touches plastic, not even with good old American plastic And no, I'm not a vegan who'll cling to trees and promote natural products and tell someone else why they don't akz the evil of plastic should ept; but when i have the choice between steel or plastic when making coffee, there really is no competition. Overall, I was very satisfied with this device and would recommend it. And presto, if Maytag can make a refrigerator in the US, maybe they can make a coffee maker here too. I'm just saying.
