Correct installation at the right height.

Instructions should state mounting distances in feet not meters. The problem everyone has is that the design of the lens is such that the camera needs to be mounted 10 feet off the ground to properly activate the motion detection feature. When I first got it I couldn't get it to work either because it has a photocell that only works in the dark on setting three. I just installed it yesterday so we'll see how durable it is. The alarm clock isn't very loud either. Although maybe it's good to scare people away from empty buildings.
