Bought while looking for beach glass at the lake. They worked so well I'm even surprised! The water was cold and although I could definitely feel it, the water didn't get stuck in my boots and my feet warmed up again when not in the water. I could even walk over small shells and rocks without pain! I could feel them but they were like little foot massage stones so it was actually pretty nice lol. I definitely wouldn't be able to walk around barefoot in this area. I also ran the rest of the park in them and they feel and hold up really well. The outside of the shoes was covered in sand and I fully expected the inside to be full. However, when I got home and took them off, my feet were perfectly clean! no sand! I got this pair as something basic but now I'm thinking about getting a second prettier pair lol.
