On and works. - Air Suspension Kits

2019 Ram 2500 Big Horn Megacab 4wd. I ordered a 2580 kit first. Revane said they fit but the bracket on the axle is too short. The holes were at least an inch wide. I sent them back. I've spoken to a few different people about what I need. I was told to take the 2598 kit. They fit 2019. The Firestone website is also listed as my set. I received it and installed it on the driver's side with no problems. I put a 6x6 block under my hitch and raised the body about 5 inches without lifting the tires off the ground. Then the problems started. It hurt on the passenger side. Jacked up the truck a bit. I didn't want to take the tire off. I hit 60 and they're just too heavy unless I really have to. Therefore a two step process was used to install it in place. Install the top mount and bag with no hassle. Then lift the bag, place the bottom bracket and mark. I was able to tilt it to tighten with a metric allen wrench. Then back to the axis. I had to remove the brake line bracket from both sides. I was able to just twist and screw it through the hole I didn't use for the long airbag screw that goes to the lower axle bracket. Both lines are perfectly erased. Now the most interesting. The bracket that bolts to the link bracket was an issue. The inner two holes matched, but the outer holes were too low. I inserted the screw from the inside and threaded it through 3 of the 4 holes. I then had to install a floor jack on each side of the bracket with a strong metal bar against the outside edge of the bracket. Raised until the holes match. Insert 2 screws and complete assembly. Introduce 70 pounds of air and spray with soapy water. There are no leaks. All in all, just glad to put them on just in case we can get the camper out. Miller time.
