great stove for $

I replaced an old stove in my vintage 1983 fiberglass camper with a Flame King. As another reviewer pointed out: BE CAREFUL ON THE CUT! The hole was already cut in my old oven so I couldn't change anything, but if you cut again be aware that the corners of this oven are rounded and ANY over cutting will result in a gap in the corners! I would suggest trimming the size difference by about 1/2 inch and MUDDING the corners of the cutout (rather than cutting a true rectangle) so it sits flush with no corner gaps. Yes, you have to light it with a flame, but at this price? I would take flint! The flame is easy to control and there is a good range of flame from low to high. My old oven didn't have a plate either so it's a VERY nice improvement as I can put my mini toaster on the closed plate. The camper is only 10ft long so the work surface is a bonus - this stove was an amazing upgrade for that reason alone! I also like that the grilles are removable, but you have to work really hard to take them out so they don't pop out on their own and fly around while driving. I definitely recommend this oven!
