These hammock and steps are the perfect addition to the shelves I've already made. The moose lay down right in the hammock as soon as I finished installing it. It weighs almost 14 pounds and holds it with no problem. He and his sister Cheetah love this stupid thing. I actually ordered a second one for the other side so they wouldn't fight over it. The moose actually pushed them out. He's a punk! Installation was easy, especially as I had already marked the studs from the previous shelves. Only step-by-step instructions were included, but it's pretty easy to figure it out without them. Just make sure everything is assembled before you mount it on the wall. I got very excited and just started screwing things on the wall without thinking. No problem, it just slowed down the whole process as I had to take everything off and back on. From opening the box, gathering tools, ladders, etc. Installation probably took about an hour, even with my error. It is well made and everything fits together perfectly during installation. The bolts holding everything together are long and strong. The hammock itself is made of thick canvas and well sewn. A piece was missing in front of the step, which you can see in the photo. I contacted the seller and he sent me a brand new set of ladders within 24 hours. Excellent customer service. Now we need to take it off and paint it to match the stairs. Wow!
