Review on ๐ŸŽฎ Nintendo Switch Split Pad Pro (Blue) - Officially Licensed Ergonomic Controller for Handheld Mode - Nintendo Switch by John Pineda

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Thick but not uncomfortable.

These light fat guys can be installed on Switch in place of regular Joy-Cons and they are amazing. They feel like mating halves of a full-size controller, with a nice grippy back that has a rough texture but isn't as annoyingly sticky as rubber backs or sleeves. Get a tote bag that you can put everything in without taking it apart. Now for the issues that may or may not arise depending on the user: These things don't have their own batteries, so they can't work unless they're plugged into the Switch. They also cannot take the console out of manual mode by pressing the home button on them. Small inconveniences. Another thing this thing can't do is read amiibo or NFC cards (fake amiibo), they are not designed for this function. So really, while these are great controllers for undocking your device, don't throw those Joy-Cons in the trash just yet!
