Best Bang For the Buck Laptop Cooler

I bought this to cool my laptop which is used 24/7 for mining. I bought it because I can switch between two sets of fans: one large fan or four small ones. That factor alone is important to me because I don't want a group of fans who work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to die prematurely. So I alternate between two sets of fans twice a day so that neither fan dies prematurely. This generic Chinese laptop cooler (obviously out of the box) replaced my aging USB powered Antec laptop cooler. Instead of drawing warm/hot air from the bottom of the laptop and blowing warm/hot air out the sides of the cooler as designed by Antec (circa 2006/2007), this universal laptop cooler blows cold air into the bottom of the laptop. Laptop up to 5 fans. This is a currently developed fan airflow for modern laptop designs (like the Evoo EG-LP7-BK gaming laptop) that draws cold air in from the bottom of the laptop and pushes warm/hot air out of the back of the laptop. This all-in-one laptop cooler was able to lower the temperature of my mining laptop by 5°C (11°F) or about 2°F/C better than the Antec cooler by running any set of fans. I don't need to turn on all 5 fans as the laptop GPU (NVIDIA RTX 2060) is 133°F (reported 56°C) and the AP is 155°F (reported 66°C). I haven't played with the EVOO laptop but I expect it to cool my laptop well enough. Care should be taken with the design of the height-adjustable plastic support. Plastic has questionable strength and durability, so it's technically possible to break a height-adjustable plastic post without worrying about its flimsy construction. So I make sure to grab a plastic stand next to the hinge attached to the slots to lift and move the cooler and laptop without damaging the plastic stand. The noise level of the fan(s) corresponds to the calculated one. Unfortunately, if you're looking for a quiet whisper, this laptop cooler doesn't have variable fan speeds to reduce noise levels. One last note: based on first impressions, I would buy this cooler again at any time. Bang for the dollar.
