The device is easy to read, but you need to download the program to configure parameters and visual graphs on a PC, but you don't need a PC for real-time -Read. I'm a boomer and can't download. Support sent me instructions but I didn't receive them. I called them and one of the owners of this American store put me through. He also gave me advice on where to read in the house and how radon travels through the house. He went out of his way to keep me updated on every aspect of the reading and its importance. I use a Mac, but I have an old PC that I use for this device so I can make changes to the device and see readings for the last 40 days on a graph. I had a bit of trouble navigating the settings page as I'm not very good at it, but the support owner dumped me as well. I can't say enough about how helpful this person was.
