I bought this for the toilet but the cats made it through first. When I say "it got to this point," I mean I couldn't resist playing with them BEFORE using them in the toilet. The problem is that it's too effective as a cat brush to use in the toilet. I need a new one for that. Pros for a CAT BRUSH - Silicone really attracts loose hairs that are being brushed - it's too soft to irritate a cat - she really seems to like it - Long handle: you don't have to bend down to her height when sitting - The handle is long enough so your hand isn't in danger if you're brushing while you're doing something else (your hand is far enough away that you shouldn't get hurt by an irritated cat, even if they suddenly get upset about it ). - looks cool - I don't look like a toilet brush, so keeping it in the corner of the living room isn't an immediate ban. CONS: - If the cat decides to chew on it, she doesn't stand a chance.
