Failed to load media. This is a great little BLTouch replacement. This is a replacement for the standard AntLabs BLTouch. In the box I was happy to find many different mounts. Since I'm not using a factory hotend and bracket, I had to play around with the brackets that came with the kit to find the right fit. I'm using PetsFang BlockHead for a V6 (Dragon) hotend. There are a few minor physical differences in the form factor. First, the mounting holes are exactly the same. There is no difference in installation. Differences The CRTouch wiring has exactly the same pinout and connector as the BLTouch. I used the existing wiring I had for my BLTouch and just hooked it up to the CR Touch without changing the wiring. In this respect, they are 100% interchangeable. The only difference is where the fork is located. The standard BlTouch mounts require a cut out or modification for the CrTouch. However, the ones supplied are ideal for most applications. The only printer I have that would require me to make a modified mount is something like the Tevo Tarantula, where the BLTouch mount is a hidden mount with no slot. Height from top of bracket to bottom of chassis (excluding sensor in mm)BLTouch - 36.44CRTouch - 36.80 Height from top of bracket to bottom of chassis (including fully extended sensor in mm)BLTouch - 46.30CRTouch - 45,36In stock now! This probe is almost silent! and the LED is much easier on the eye. Compared to BLTouch which has an annoying red light and loud click every time. Amazingly, the accuracy is equal or better than the real BLTouch Smart 3.1. Repeatability with <0.002 accuracy, I've only seen 0.0013. Print hourly with the bed at 110C, then check accuracy while still hot. And then after cooling. It's heavier but looks very well built. And I like the metal dipstick versus the plastic one. I broke several probes when the prints warped. So that's a nice bonus. Here are some sensor repeatability tests (as shown in the video, 10 sensors and then mean) BLT sensor accuracy results: Maximum 0.887500, Minimum 0.878125, Range 0.009375, Mean 0.885437, Median 0.886875, Standard Deviation 0.002851 sensor accuracy results : maximum 0.892500, minimum 0.885625, range 0.006875, mean 0.887812, median 0.887187, standard deviation 0.002133. 0.885625, range 0.004375, mean 0.887000, median 0.886562, standard deviation 0.001275. 0.885187, Median 0.885000, Standard Deviation 0.001834 Probe Accuracy Results: Maximum 0.890000, Minimum Miles 0.881875, Range 0.008125, Mean 0.886250, Median 0.886875, Standard Deviation 0.002607. Setting the offset from BLTouch to CRTouch was just as easy and the difference was easy to adjust. Overall I am very happy with this purchase. It seems more durable and I am adding it to each of the new printers in my collection. All my tests were done on Ender 5 Plus with SKR 2.
