
Be careful because you can get a marriage missing a transponder chip. I recommend opening your key fob when you receive it before it gets cut by a locksmith so you don't waste money on something your car can never start. I think when people order this item they remove the transponder (if they originally had one) and return the item to the seller (minus the transponder chips). So the key fobs are just an RF remote control and can never be programmed into the immobilizer to start the car. It seems that when returned and replenished these parts do not check for a transponder. You might be lucky and get a brand new, non-refurbished one (e.g. used by someone else, transponder removed or missing). .
