This is a good design and works well but I bought this for the negative and positive terminals for a project. There is a 1" nickel plated copper rod that holds both sides at the correct height. The bar MUST be present for the hoops to attach properly to the legs. If I hadn't noticed this before I connected the lithium ion battery, I would have burned my house down. To fix this I simply removed the rod, cut it in half and replaced 2 sides. A plastic rod should be included to replace it, but it isn't. Apart from this issue, this item is recommended.
