I used this ladle primarily for melting lead for weights. I make a lot of circuit boards during the spring and summer and this will be one of the scoops I use quite often after seeing how smooth it pours. Other buckets I have seem to have debris around the edge of the drain lip and I didn't have that when using this bucket. I can throw more accurately and faster without letting the metal cool too quickly. The handle has room for some improvements. After using the trowel for a while, the handle starts to get so hot that I can feel the heat through my insulated gloves. If the handle had been insulated to keep out the heat I would have given it 5 stars. Overall a good bucket, just make sure you protect your hands!
