I ordered a size 4T in camouflage. Green has a slightly bluish tint. The fabric of these shorts is very dense and of high quality. I expect them to stand up to the rough play of a 4 year old. The shorts have a total of 6 pockets - 2 front, 2 cargo pockets and 2 back. The inseam is about 4.5 inches - they fit my baby perfectly. around the knee. The waist in these shorts is terrible. It is stretchy but has VERY LITTLE stretch. The waist measures approximately 9.5 inches when unstretched and 11 inches when stretched to the absolute maximum. The laces are purely decorative. The fabric does not stretch, these are shorts without closures. The waist should be more elastic for easy dressing and undressing. These shorts fit my child's waist well, but the pair we have are so difficult to put on and take off that they sit in the desk drawer unworn. Overall the shorts are very cute and I am very disappointed that the waist is not better.
