Excellent feeder. Plexiglas is completely transparent. The design is perfect for our cockatiel. He got down to business almost immediately. A small house bass seems like a good spot for him to stand and feed. It's just the right size for one of the side doors on the cage. Hook and hook in seconds. Holds lots of food. No mess! The shells almost don't go beyond the feeder! It's also a fun way to see our bird eating. It's like he's out of the cage. There was also a potion, but our cage has bigger bars and it doesn't work with them. Should work well on the smaller, narrower wire cages that are common. It also seems to be of good quality. I can highly recommend and will buy again.
