Taste is normal but very strong. If I had to buy again I would order directly from them where I can customize it. It's very satisfying and I love its benefits, but it looks like you'll have to learn to do better. My main problem is that I can't manage to stay mixed. I'm used to mixing up a large protein shake and drinking it throughout the day. However, in this species, it begins to separate after a few minutes. The first time I used it, I mixed it with ice, water, and an instant fruit drink in a Ninja blender. I ended up with a layer of watery juice, a layer of mixed fruit and vanilla milk, and a layer of thick vanilla protein floating on top. I used a clear glass and could see the different layers as they separated. The second time I used it, I mixed up ice, water, and a scoop of coffee-flavored whey protein that I've been using every day for years. At first he drank well. Then after about 20 minutes it felt like it was getting weirdly thick. It was beginning to feel almost like bubble tea. I poured it into another cup to see what happened - I had a normal cocktail consistency, but there was a jelly-like goo at the bottom of the cup. It had the consistency of a frozen pan. Pooh! I really like it but it will take a bit of trial and error to find the right material to mix with it so it doesn't delaminate.
