I bought these about a year before this review. At first they were great, but gradually (after 3-4 months in kitchen cabinets) they began to fail. Some of them started strobe. One would turn on unprovoked during a move build (I could see this in a kitchen cabinet from another room). One just stopped working, but now all the batteries aren't holding a charge. All have been stored in dry, air-conditioned rooms and should be handled with care when removed to charge the batteries. I tried to contact the manufacturer but the link in this listing points to a non-existent company. I opened up one of the devices to check, it was just a battery that could be swapped out, but it's a weird little battery pack with wires going into the circuit board. That's disappointing as they appear to be well built, although the battery is tiny so I'm surprised it holds enough charge to get the job done. Very disappointed.
