I have very limited vision - blind in one eye and only 24% blind in the other eye due to cataracts. Because I am at high risk for optic nerve problems, it will be a long time before I have surgery. I asked for these lights for my birthday. These are the ones he has. Very easy to install and works great under my kitchen cabinets.

That's why I ordered these. It looks like they are working fine. After 6 weeks I threw them in the trash because they needed to be charged every other day. Great concept, but they just don't work.

Motion detection doesn't work here. I wave my hand back and forth in front of the sensor and nothing happens. Actually touching the sensor turns the light on, but it's basically the same as using a regular switch. I was hoping that I would open the closet doors and all the lights would come on at once and illuminate my game collection. Now I have to turn each light on individually with a switch on the side, which takes away from the wow factor I was trying to achieve here. I'm disappointed.

I really like these lights. They're light and easy to install, but it would be nice if they stayed on longer (just 20-30 seconds) after motion activation. One problem with them is that activation range is severely limited when installed under kitchen cabinets - you have to be directly in front of the cabinet before they turn on. I have used them in my closets. They work great. The sensor turns on the light as soon as the door is almost fully open. I installed all but one on the inside of the closet. I installed a vertical on a post separating two doors. I have deep shelves and they block the light when it's over them. This doesn't turn on when the door is opened due to the position of the sensors, but as soon as you put your hand inside they turn on. I bought these about a year before this review. At first they were great, but gradually (after 3-4 months in kitchen cabinets) they began to fail. Some of them started strobe.
