Review on ORHOMELIFE Rechargeable LED Work Light by Jeremy Gaines

Handy tool for the car and anywhere

I bought this to check the undercarriage and engine compartment of vehicles while looking for a used car after seeing a similar car at my local shop would have. Not only was it perfect for this, but also very handy for repairs/work around my car and even around the house. It's bright, lasts for hours when needed (although perhaps not at full capacity), and the small, focused beam is useful in tight spaces. The controls are easy to use, and I liked being able to adjust the brightness with the dial because not only does it save battery, but the brightest setting is often blinding when it's close to my face (although it's for lighting is useful at a distance). I didn't find myself hitting the dial, but I also don't tend to hold it there or at all as it's held in place with a magnet and I generally need both hands to operate it. The magnet on the end makes it easy to stick this metal anywhere and in my experience it sticks pretty well. Sometimes I had to pull hard to get it off. Even if I had nowhere to attach it, I could either squeeze it in between things because it was thin enough for that, or find some loose metal to stand on. When I'm under the car I can hitch it to the track and it rolls with me. The light segment twists and bends so you can direct the light where you want it. I haven't encountered any issues with magnets coming loose or low battery life. I used it to install a radio that had a lot of things wrong and it took me over 8 hours on the phone to tech support, taking things apart, checking the wiring, rewiring and stuff testing. Most of this work was illuminated with this light, and although I turned it off when not in use, I certainly left the main light on at half to 2/3 power for about 4 hours. It's rechargeable, so that's a bonus too. All in all this is one of the best all round lights I have ever used. Too bad I didn't have it before. Do yourself a favor and add this to your toolbox, regardless of your repair ability. This is an inexpensive addition, costing $16-17.
