Good sound in and out. The USB controller has limited functionality with the softphone I use for work. Volume and call start and end do not work on my version of the Mitel softphone, but mute does. Overall good sound and you can adjust how much of your own voice comes back to your earbuds. I can tell if the noise canceling feature will do anything. Upgraded to 5 stars after some use. The sound quality of the phone is excellent. It is very useful to find the volume control and turn off the sound. When switched on, the red mute LED on the controller lights up.
