This is a very good hand blender. The stainless steel shaft is very easy to clean. It's much easier to clean than my old hand blender (another brand) with a plastic shaft. I also like the interchangeable tips. It works very well and the attachment buttons make it quick and easy to remove the attachments. They just snap into place and you push the buttons and they snap out. And the design of the bottom of the barrel helps prevent splashing. My old blender didn't have a bowl deep enough to hold the blades and it felt like liquid was sloshing out of the bowl, but this one didn't. Adjusting the speed of this blender is very quick and easy - a handy little scale at the top shows the setting. My blender only had 2 speeds and this one has 6 speeds plus a turbo button.
