I wanted to improve visibility on my 2007 Honda Odyssey by adding a light bar and fog light kit. Halogen lamp technology, while reliable, is outdated and inefficient. HID bulb technology works very well, they use less energy than halogen bulbs but are an expensive upgrade. LEDs are a fantastic compromise solution due to their value for money. They are very inexpensive and outperform halogens like day and night. These things are BRILLIANT! Dazzling, like looking at the forehead. I don't recommend pointing them out directly as you're sure to annoy oncoming traffic. This is a disadvantage of this type of LED: the radiation pattern is not as focused as that of HID and is more intense. I would recommend them more for off-road use BUT I pointed them at an angle down. I sacrifice a little distance vision, but I use it daily without blinding anyone. The wiring is VERY easy to install and everything you need is included, but the mounting mechanism, while universal, isn't very convenient, at least for me, but it depends on how and where you're going to install it. Anything, buy it. you will not regret it.
