It's okay. Dressed my 4 year old granddaughter in this. I didn't want to use dyes or red hairspray. Red spots are so good. Her hair is thin and lighter at the ends where we needed color. Was surprised to see how small the little combs were. The total width of the chalk between the ridges is about 3 inches. She was Gamora from Guardians of the Galaxy. I actually had to get her hair wet for the chalk to stay. Some strands needed rubbing up and down. It takes some time to get the color you want. After it dried, it still stayed in. We washed her hair with regular shampoo to remove it. We didn't see any damage to her hair. We can use others for dressing days.
