***UPDATE***Four stars for good customer service! I would like to update my review by stating that Rexing's customer service is very good. They respond when there is a problem by replacing my camera and also offering a refund. They support their product. First off, this camera captures great video both day and night. Night videos are much clearer than my old Browning camera. The camera also comes with some useful accessories. You have the choice of using a mount or mounting the camera to a tree. I prefer a mount. There are also many customization options for this camera. BUYER TIPS: SD CARD: 1. This camera uses a Micro SD card instead of a standard SD card, which may make it difficult to operate. Please be very careful when inserting and removing the card, as it is easy to fall off and get lost. If you drop it in the leaves, you have to search for it for a long time. The memory card slot is located on the bottom of the camera, leaving little room for your fingers to insert and remove a card. My solution is to take a plastic bag and tweezers with me when I take out the card; I use tweezers to hold the bottom of the card when I take it out to keep it from falling, then slip the card into my pocket. Since then I haven't had any problems removing or inserting the SD card. I would definitely suggest doing this.2. Just need to know that I bought a 64GB SD card thinking it would be enough. That said, the 64GB card fills up pretty quickly on this camera, most likely because it shoots high-quality video. So I would suggest getting a 128GB or 256GB card if you do a lot of work and shooting videos. BATTERIES: 1. Battery life is short, so please have spare batteries on hand. I was surprised as the listing says it extends battery life. Perhaps recording low-resolution videos can help extend battery life. 2. Not critical but I wish this camera had a retractable battery case like my old camera where you could just slide the battery case into the field and bring it inside to change the batteries. With the Rexing, you either have to remove the entire camera to get inside to change the batteries, or swap out new batteries in the field, which takes time.
