Review on GEFU Tomato and Apple Slicer, Pomo: Effortlessly Slice and Dice Tomatoes and Apples by Maria Skim

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This top-of-the-line apple slicer does its job very well.

There are dozens of tools sold for this, but in my experience it only does one thing well, won't bend or break - this one. My wife and I eat apples and cheddar almost every night before bed. This makes what I serve look as good as it tastes. Appearance isn't everything when it comes to food, but cleanliness and symmetry are important. SHARP edges will cut you with normal care, so be more careful with rinsing, which is all it takes to clean. And prepare to put some effort into slicing the apples. Most act like Granny Smith—tough, solid, and ruthless. You have to struggle to slice 12 times at once, which is what these slicers do and why the inferior and cheaper ones might not just work with apples.

Pros
  • home and kitchen
Cons
  • The list will be long.
