The cable is not recognized by Windows, causing the blue screen

I received the cable with no ass. I plugged it in and it couldn't find the right driver. I tried the Cisco driver, the driver from the chipset website, and the windows driver before giving up. Trying a Windows driver caused a blue screen on my computer. Seems to be a well made cable but the one I got was only useful for tying things together.
