I work outdoors in Tucson. It was 115 degrees yesterday. This cooler is great for my shopping cart - saves me from dying of heat stroke. It's compact, which is a plus, and doesn't hold enough water to be wasteful. The only thing that makes it a 3 star rating is that the lid is not insulated. The lid is only plastic, which means the water heats up. I fill the entire container with ice and then with cold water. In 8 hours all the ice melted and the water began to warm up. Is it scary - no. However, it would be nice to have cold water until the end of my shift. I think the lid insulation might help with that. You also have to pull out the spout to scoop up water, and sometimes it pulls out because it has to be folded over things, causing water to spill out.
