Exactly what I expected. Best connection quality 5/16 I've found. The part that actually holds the pipe in place is metal, not plastic like in home R/O systems and refrigerator plumbing lines. I plug and unplug them constantly and so far there have been no leaks or other issues. The price is higher than others but you get what you pay for.
