Review on πŸ“± 1Zero Magnetic Phone Car Mount with 14-Inch Gooseneck Long Arm Extension - Securely Hold All Cell Phones with 6 Strong Magnets by Bryan Orozco

Revainrating 5 out of 5

If you have a phone, a car, and a windshield, then this mount is for you.

As a part-time inventor, I saw a picture of this mount on my Revain search and looked it over and realized it was the best design out there. After 10 months I can say that my first impression was correct. Between the length of the gooseneck and the reasonable dashboard mount, I felt like the manufacturer had gotten inside my head and created the perfect representation of the ideas that had evolved over the years. ; every time my phone dropped into my lap during my daily 40-minute commute. Since I first got a cell phone, I've bought and tested at least 10 different car mounts, from cup holder plugs to vent clips to suction cups for dashboards and windshields. So far, every vehicle has been like a randomly exploding time bomb. I never knew when the suction cup would suddenly eject the towel and send my phone (still attached to the stand) to my knee (or something more sensitive). I just knew it was inevitable. It's been almost a year since I've fitted this mount to my windshield and it still shows no signs of displacement. It is strong, reliable and stable. Over the years I have not wanted to mount anything on my windshield as the options were either to hold the phone too far out of reach while driving or high enough on the windshield that this fixture was not a risk. Block my review to varying degrees. The very long neck design of this mount allows the suction cup to be mounted low on the windshield. This virtually eliminates any obstruction to the view. The added dash support means it can extend to the edge of my dash and still be virtually vibration free. This is in stark contrast to the latest long-necked solution, which made the phone difficult to access as it hopped around like a moth trying to evade capture. This 1Zero mount is also the third magnetic mount I've tried. While all of the magnets were adequate, the size, shape, and rough rubberized finish of this mount make it so durable that it often takes me two hands to remove the phone.
