ASICS is a good solid running shoe but it has changed over the years Order a 7.5 or 8 WIDE, I've never worn wide shoes so they run small . Also, I have a definite problem with the heels, the material on the heels comes off first and I would say within the first two weeks of wearing! I bought the matching colored felt and had to sew the heel on to cover up where the material had torn, exposing the welt of the shoe. They need to work on a more durable heel material and definitely let people know they run small. I currently run 35 miles a week
