I'm glad I read the reviews and ordered a half size up. I spend more than 7 hours a day on my feet for work and these are my favorites. I had an older model and they lasted almost 4 years (not really, I had a toe that stuck out but I carried on) and I knew I needed the exact same ones as a replacement. Bought for work. I'm on my feet most of the day so I needed comfortable and comfortable shoes. Knowing that Asics is a great shoe brand in general, I'm sadly disappointed in them. I ordered my correct size but they still feel snug (even with a thin sock) and feel very snug. I thought maybe they just needed breaking in, but after a week and a half they still hurt my legs and crush them. I even went as far as trying different laces, but in the end it didn't make much of a difference.

I was lucky with Asics shoes. I need a stable shoe with good arch support, but I hate to pay the price that many other brands charge. I could easily spend 120-150€. I can usually buy Asics under $100. And they come in many colors, although Revane didn't have that many colors. I always have 8-8.5. 8.5 wasn't, took 8. Too small. ASICS is a good solid running shoe but it has changed over the years Order a 7.5 or 8 WIDE, I've never worn wide shoes so they run small . Also, I have a definite problem with the heels, the material on the heels comes off first and I would say within the first two weeks of wearing! I bought the matching colored felt and had to sew the heel on to cover up where the material had torn, exposing the welt of the shoe.
