I'm tired of the space our old ironing board was taking up. This little ironing board is big enough for everything I need to iron because you put it on the kitchen or dining table so you can iron the biggest thing you have. The legs slide out and stay in place, and they're sturdy. Feet lift it off the table about 6-8 inches. The ironing board is lightweight and easy to carry. It has a hanger-like hook on the back that swings outward so you can hang this ironing board on a clothes rack in a nearby bedroom for storage. I have looked at all the ironing boards built into the walls but they are not good enough for our bedroom. It really solved all my ironing needs.
