These covers look great in pictures but not so good in reality. Do they stick to the skin and protect the sensor on the hand? Yes, they will - at least in the same way any coating product would. But there is something to note, even if you follow the instructions verbatim, these things will not go smoothly. They bunch, fold, detach as they're placed, and there's no way to fix them once they touch your skin. Then there's that blue cover - I think it's there to give the part some shape while you're trying to install it. But when you peel it off, the plastic backing sticks to the protective film like crazy. You really have to work at getting this cap off without taking the rest of the product off your hand. The first patch I applied came off completely when I tried to remove the blue covers (there are two of them, one on each half that needs to be removed) so I had to take everything off and start over with a new one. Maybe I'll get better with time, but the learning curve in applying these things is really steep. It remains to be seen how they will hold up over a few days of use.
