Just like you, I read so many reviews that I put off buying this product. In the end it was worth a try because I've wanted to try a cleansing balm for a long time. I'm 40 years old, minimal signs of aging - but prone to acne! I work with a dermatologist for my acne. It's been about 10 days and I use it morning and night. I have no idea what voodoo magic is, but I love my skin! I am now confident that my acne treatment regimen is helping as it should, but this product has not caused or increased my acne. It made my face very smooth; Love the scent - think chic day spa/essential oil; The texture is like warm oil, but you need very little - the jar lasts a very long time. The glass is also designed so that you can easily remove product residue. I know the price is high, but you get your money's worth. I almost feel sorry for those who couldn't use the product; I believe this is a welcome treat and I can't wait to share it with the ladies in my family. If in doubt, buy a travel size. I love it!
