I usually wear trail runners every day so I bought these socks for everyday use in the first place. They fit well (I bought L/XL and I'm about a 12.5) and aren't too tight around the ankle. They're not made of wool and aren't particularly warm in cooler weather, so they're more suited to outdoor activities in warmer weather unless you're going to be moving a lot to keep your feet warm. Overall, they're not as good as Darn Tough wool socks for outdoors, but they're great for everyday wear and cool-weather activities when you're out and about.
