Amazing reactor! The pump is very quiet! Previously I bought a Minimax reactor from Innovative Marine and used it for a week. The minimax pump was noisy and the water flow made rippling noises. The pump was so loud that I had to turn it off at night since my Red Sea Cube was in my bedroom. The acrylic work was what initially attracted the II, but the functionality was on the bad side. The Sicce Reactor is not as advanced as the Minimax from an aesthetic point of view, but it is much better from a functional point of view. Now I buy sicce products, forget all the extra plumbing and fittings on fancy acrylic reactors and go for a simple, reliable, functional, quiet and strong design. Sicce gear is so affordable compared to other reef aquarium brands. I am very picky when it comes to aquarium equipment. This reactor is one of the best decisions I've made in years.
