Review on Unleash Your Style with Johnny B King Mode Styling Gel by Rebecca Massey

I have been using Johnny B Mode for many years but recently I have been getting rashes on my scalp. After several months of experimenting, I found out that Maud was the culprit. I order this version from King Mode hoping that the other perfumes used in it can solve my problem. The jury is not yet determined. Like the regular mode, this version is like a cross between a gel and a lipstick. It offers a shiny look that lasts all day (and possibly longer). Though it's said to be water soluble, it doesn't wash out of your hair or hands that easily. It's great for styling, but annoying when washing your hands and hair. I'm not a big fan of the King Mode fragrance. It's definitely not worth the price premium over regular mode. It's more like Acqua di Gio. It's not offensive in any way, just not my style and a bit overwhelming. 4 stars for product performance, 2 stars for fragrance = 3 stars here on Revain. Johnny B, if you're listening, please start offering your unscented products!
