I've been using this hair gel for a few years now and I really like it. holding power and smell. I always get compliments on the scent. The only thing is that the delivery was TERRIBLE. The package arrived damaged, the lid is broken and cracked so it doesn't close. I didn't send it back because I needed the gel. I do not write negative reviews about the product itself, but Revain needs to review the packaging when shipping these items.

The smell was so terrible that as soon as you opened the jar the whole room stank. I had to keep washing my hands and still couldn't get rid of the smell. I should have looked for an odorless variety. I think it's a matter of taste, but I just can't imagine anyone wanting something on their head that's difficult to wash off, a smell that won't go away.

I love Johnny B Mode Gel. My hairdresser put me on this product and I have not gone back. If you have hair that needs a strong hold, this is your gel. I started with blue gel. The scent was pleasant but manly. Something I can confidently wear all day. King mode also has a great smell. It's fresh and clean. BUT, I think it's a bit on the strong side.
