Update: It's been almost nine months and our first order is still working with no breakage in daily use! Just ordered a second set as a backup. Another brand I ordered fell apart and was thrown away very quickly. I have ordered two brands of these from different companies. These are undoubtedly far superior to two. Very strong, the lids fit. My husband and college kids always have homemade healthy meals to take to work and school throughout the week. We really do prefer glass containers, but when we're cooking for 4 people for a week, we just don't have room for that many glass containers in the fridge.
