Decided to try the cheapest option for steering braces. I've seen them range from the cheapest (these) to $150 for identical braces. I've seen various designs starting at $250. They are all similar and do the same thing. I'm sure top of the line braces are better but I'm happy with them. I have a new Redhead steering box and about 15,000 miles on the remaining steering components. I thought my steering was pretty decent for a 2nd gen Dodge Ram. I immediately felt the difference with these braces. My only complaint was that the new part that bolts on and replaces the connecting rod nut loosened a bit when bolted on. As if the thread was cut with large tolerances. I was nervous about tightening it to 180 ftlbs but it stretched and all is well. I had no idea the Dodge steering mechanism had so much play! Even a new steering gear. 100% would buy again!
