I hardly ever write reviews but here it is! I was looking for a radio for my basement workshop, so here are a few features I need: a remote control, an AM/FM radio (with some presets), Bluetooth, an AUX-in for Alexa, and the ability to add speakers . Score. This receiver had them and at a decent price. Let's start with the remote control. There is no on/off switch on the remote control! I'm not even sure why they wouldn't turn it on on the remote. At this point I'm thinking should I go back or live with it? I've decided I can live with that. am i really that lazy? The AM/FM radio works well, but setting it up is a nightmare. You can usually hold down the settings button and it will "accelerate" quickly. This product requires you to press a button for every 0.2 step. Pooh. About preset tuning: In each preset, you should start at 88 FM and press the tune button a thousand times to get 100.7, then start again at 88 to go to the next preset station 101.1. So after installing all the presets I'm quite happy. But on the remote control there is a button called "Auto Scan". NEVER PRESS THIS KEY AFTER INSTALLING PRESETS! This button will erase all your manual settings and replace them with Autoscan. Now I have 50 random static radios. Put it on the remote but no on/off button? Anyway, I've had enough. I never got to Bluetooth or AUX. I'm sure they work fine. The speakers I already had worked as expected.
