If you close your eyes to the feature with temperature fluctuations, and given that in general everything works stably and very quickly - an excellent percentage, and most importantly affordable. Got pros: Relatively cheap, fairly efficient processor. Ideal for those who want to play and work. Multithreading makes it possible to work well with working software, at the same time, the processor is suitable for top games. Cons below: Found temperature jumps of the order of 10 degrees every few seconds in idle time. This led to the fact that the fan periodically howled and then calmed down. For a long time I tried to find out what the problem was, until I tested exactly the same processor on a friend's PC, and the usual 2700 at work - there are the same temperature jumps. I concluded that this is a normal feature of the operation of these processors with Precision Boost Overdrive enabled (a short-term increase in power due to overshooting frequencies to 4100-4200, and on all cores simultaneously). Why the function works in idle time - I did not understand, AMD support answered in the states every 3-4 days and was very reluctant, did not help. I do not recommend disabling PBO - you will lose temperature waves, but the maximum frequency will be limited to constant 3700, which will affect the overall system performance (based on benchmarks, almost all components, including memory, video card, SSD, suffer quite noticeably). I do not recommend limiting the maximum processor power value to 99% in terms of power supply, in this case the frequencies are limited to 3200 MHz on each core. Total: I solved the problem of fan crying by simply increasing the speed to 60% to a temperature of 55 degrees, then a smooth curve up to 100% of the speed at a temperature of 80 degrees. I built the fan performance curve in the UEFI of the ASRock motherboard - there is a FANtastic Tuning function there. Maybe there are other ways, I did not look. The fan began to work, albeit a little louder, but evenly. And he simply took the temperature jumps as a feature and scored. I note that the problem does not manifest itself for everyone, because many do not look at the temperature of the processor until the cooler starts to behave strangely, and whether it starts or not depends on the motherboard and the cooling system itself. I have Thermaltake frio silent 12 with TDP 150W.
