This is one of those Chinese things where the sizes don't match. I'm average in US sizes but the size chart on this product told me to go for XL so I did and they fit. The fabric is nice and thick, but they made this silly cheap thing where there's a 4 inch thick waistband and only a 1 inch elastic at the top. For this reason I fold the belt twice when I wear it and it seems to work. I could try to rip it open and pull out the useless piece of gum. But I paid $25 for 4 pairs of shorts so I'm not really complaining.
