Four dining chairs returned. I'm putting 2 stars because I've had it for about 2 weeks and it looked and felt sturdy so I couldn't beat it or give an honest review on it. I took off other stars because it's definitely uncomfortable and I don't see this chair returning any long-term value from use. Much more is expected in this price range. Cons: There is a metal bar at the top of the backrest, but the padding is so thin and soft right on that part of the chair back that the bar just digs into your back. I see it getting worse over time as the foam and padding flatten out with natural use. The reviewer is also right when he mentioned that when you sit in a chair, you just "sink into the seat". The seat seems to have soft springs to keep it upright; great for short-term comfort, but like feather beds, it loses its firmness and part of the seat will just sag. I don't expect to spend that much on dining room chairs and have to replace them in 2-3 years. Pro: The color is a nice shade of yellow. The chair is welded together so it looks and feels solid. Time will tell about the quality of the welds and their strength.
