Too expensive for what it is

The wooden handles in my example are smaller than the tang so the tang sticks out all the way around the handle creating a rough edge that digs into my fingers. It's not blunt, but it's not razor sharp either, as other reviewers have pointed out. It's a beautiful knife and ALL the other reviewers rave about it, so maybe I just accidentally got a knife that failed quality control at the factory. But I feel this knife is grossly overrated for what it is. The Birds Beak Mac Knife (made in Japan) costs just a few dollars more and is unlike anything else.

Pros
  • Regular price
Cons
