After 45 years as a professional mechanic I decided to give this job to young people and to retire for good. We bought two new Honda CR-Vs to start a new chapter with a clean slate. in life. When I went for my first oil change, my trusty old 64mm BluePoint snap-on oil filter wrench finally arrived after decades and hundreds. Maybe thousands of oil changes decided it was done too (welds broke) so I sent it to my old Smap-On tool maker for a free change via USPS because there isn't a Snap-On truck near me right now . In the meantime I have ordered this EWK 64mm as a step up until my snap on replacement arrives. Having received and inspected it, I have little doubt that the Snap-On/BluePoint is from the same manufacturer. Identical down to the manufacturer's label, it fits the Honda filter like a glove and I have no doubt it will last as long. I've posted photos of the 64mm EWK alongside another Bluepoint (snap-on) filter key I have in my extensive collection for visual comparison. Please note that the BluePoint shown in the photo should be reused hundreds if not thousands of times so I think the 64mm EWK should last longer than the car for the same build quality. you will use it.
